This is a classic late 1930s silhouette with a bold pop of color!   The top is mustard yellow rayon and has short, puff sleeves and button back neck.  There is a wide waist band of red rayon.  The skirt is a red and yellow floral print made from lightweight rayon. It is subtly gathered to have a wonderful movement.  The dress closes with a side metal zipper.  This would be a great swing dance dress!

Condition:  Overall excellent.  The dress presents as excellent and the few flaws mentioned here are extremely minor and are truly difficult to spot unless closely hunting for flaws.  There are a few darkened spots on the skirt, but they are fairly well hidden in

the print (see photo for example).  The red band at the bottom of the skirt appears to have been added at a later date, but it was very well done and the reds match beautifully.
